In Gentle Yoga each pose is modified and slowed down to accommodate any level of yoga. Many props are used to assist students and the poses are usually held through a few breaths. There can be one or two restorative poses. supporting every part of the body while in a pose with the concentration on relaxing the body and mind. There is meditation to start class averaging 5-10 minutes, a warm up and a gentle opening of the joints and muscles of the body. The student usually feels very relaxed and rested upon completion of the class.
